Douglas County Garden Club

Douglas County Garden Club has been bringing gardeners together in Castle Rock, Colorado, since 1985 through a shared love of home and community gardening, horticultural learning, and civic beauty. We were organized and federated with the goal of encouraging interest in all phases of gardening, promoting better horticultural practices, strengthening civic pride, and nurturing beauty in our community while protecting natural resources. We are proud to offer a welcoming space where gardeners can learn, connect, and stay engaged with the local gardening community.

We meet on the first Tuesday of each month at 1:00 p.m. at the Philip S. Miller Library, 100 S. Wilcox Street, Castle Rock, Colorado, unless otherwise noted, and visitors are welcome. Our regular meetings feature horticulture experts who help expand our gardening knowledge, and throughout the year we also enjoy Out & About excursions, fundraising auctions, and plant sales that add both learning and fellowship to club life. Community service is an important part of who we are, and we balance that volunteer spirit with gatherings and activities that strengthen friendships and deepen our enjoyment of gardening.
