Manitou Springs Garden Club

Manitou Springs Garden Club is a welcoming gardening organization serving Manitou Springs and the west side of Colorado Springs through education, community involvement, and a shared love of plants and gardening. Since being organized and federated in 1993, we have worked to encourage interest in gardening, plant care, and floral adaptations while also supporting beautification, sustainability, and resilience in our community. As members of the Colorado Federation of Garden Clubs, National Garden Clubs, and the Manitou Springs Chamber of Commerce, we are proud to offer a place where gardeners can learn, connect, and grow together.

We meet on the second Thursday of every month at 6:00 p.m. at Community Congregational Church of Manitou Springs, 103 Pawnee Avenue, Manitou Springs, CO 80829. Summer meetings are usually held in members’ gardens, and we do not meet in January. Our monthly programs cover a wide range of practical horticulture topics, including gardening in Colorado, waterwise and xeriscape gardening, soil improvement, plant propagation, tree and shrub care, pests in the garden, bird and butterfly habitats, container gardening, ponds and water features, and garden crafts and projects. We also host an annual plant exchange and welcome guests who want to learn more about our club and meetings.

For gardeners, homeowners, and plant enthusiasts in our area, we provide a meaningful way to stay involved through educational programs, friendship, and community-minded gardening. Whether you are interested in native horticulture, floral design, habitat gardening, or simply connecting with others who enjoy gardening in Colorado, we invite you to learn more and join us.
